Matt Lambert is Vice President, Light Oils Marketing & Logistics of Hunt Refining Company and Hunt Southland Refining Company.
Prior to joining Hunt Refining in 2006, Lambert performed numerous roles in engineering, planning, and economics roles for ExxonMobil at the Baton Rouge Refinery. He played a key role in the coordination of hydrocarbons at the ExxonMobil's Baton Rouge Refinery during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, both impacting U.S. Gulf Coast refining and supply of clean fuels, ranging from the Gulf Coast and up the eastern seaboard to the New York Harbor.
In 2014, Lambert was named Director, Refining Operations where his responsibilities included the safe and reliable operability of both the Tuscaloosa and Sandersville refineries.
His prior experience includes naphtha hydrotreating, lubricating oils and specialty waxes, coordination of distillates, carbon black, process gas oils and overall linear model coordination of hydrocarbons of a 500,000+ barrel per day refinery.
Lambert earned a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mississippi.
